At this year's symposium, national and international designers will tackle the theme Life's a Pitch and share their experiences with competitive presentations. All lectures will be conducted in German or English.

Panel 1

Manuela Pfrunder will kick off the lecture series in the first panel, providing us with exciting insights into the process of redesigning Swiss banknotes. Following that, we will hear from 2x Goldstein, who will share their valuable experiences as jury members in the context of the Kieler Woche poster exhibition at the Kunsthalle. Before the lunch break, Christian Haas will speak about his experiences with pitches and his work at the renowned agency Raffinerie.

Panel 2

Martyna Wędzicka-Obuchowicz will discuss the pitch situation in Poland and present her work in collaborative projects during the second panel. In the end, two out of the three invited studios, namely, Ivan Weiss representing Johnson/Kingston (Bern), Nayla Baumgartner representing Data-Orbit (St. Gallen), and Vinzenz Meyner representing the gta Verlag (Zürich), will present their pitches for the ETH book series «Architektonisches Wissen» and subsequently engage in a discussion with a representative from the jury.
